Spiral Vibration Damper
Price: Rs 0.00
The Helical Vibration Damper, also known as a Vibration Absorber, is designed to reduce Aeolian vibration in overhead ADSS and OPGW fiber optic cables. By absorbing and dissipating wind-induced vibration energy, it helps extend cable service life and protects fiber optic infrastructure from long-term mechanical fatigue.
Manufactured from high-strength, anti-aging, high-elasticity PVC, the damper is lightweight, corrosion resistant, UV resistant, and easy to install without special tools. Its interference-type damping design effectively minimizes cable vibration through controlled impact within the damping section, making it ideal for aerial fiber optic installations.
Protects aerial ADSS fiber optic cables from wind-induced vibration. Suitable for OPGW cable installations requiring vibration protection. Used in power transmission, ISP, telecom, and backbone fiber networks. Ideal for long-span aerial fiber optic installations exposed to wind vibration.
Select the vibration damper model according to the actual cable diameter. Install the damper near suspension or tension clamps following the cable manufacturer's recommendations. For long-span installations or areas with high wind speeds, multiple dampers may be required to achieve effective vibration suppression and maximize cable service life.
