This KB provides an overview of CCTV installation, Wall Access Points (WAPs) setup across multiple buildings.
The CCTV installation, Wall Access Points (WAPs) setup ensure seamless surveillance and network connectivity across multiple buildings. Buildings A and B are interconnected using POE Media Converters (Product ID: 1640) and a Media Converter Switch (Product ID: 1639) in the Control Room, enabling efficient data transmission over fiber optic connections. CCTV cameras are strategically placed for security monitoring, transmitting video feeds to the Control Room via PoE, which powers the cameras while transmitting data through a single cable. To enhance wireless connectivity, Access Points (Product ID: 1516) are deployed in office spaces, connected to the PoE Media Converter for seamless network access. This setup provides high-speed connectivity, secure centralized monitoring, and efficient power distribution while enabling seamless communication between buildings.
