For this project, we are supplying All-Dielectric Self-Supporting (ADSS) fiber cables designed in different span configurations — 100 SPAN, 200 SPAN, 300 SPAN, and 600 SPAN — to match varying pole distances and field conditions.
What is ADSS Fiber Cable?
ADSS fiber cable is a special type of outdoor optical cable that can be suspended between poles without any metallic support.
It is lightweight, strong, and resistant to lightning, making it ideal for power-line routes, hilly terrains, and long-distance communication.
Because it’s all-dielectric, it doesn’t require grounding and performs safely even near high-voltage transmission lines.
Span Types and Applications
Each span type represents the cable’s designed pole-to-pole distance:

The higher the span, the stronger the aramid (Kevlar) reinforcement inside the cable.
