2. Program Objective
2.1 D-TECH Trading introduces a Free Skill Test Program for Nepalese youth who want to prove their practical knowledge in Fiber Optic Technology.
2.2 If you already know fiber work:

3. Location
3.1 Head Office: Mahalaxmisthan, Lalitpur
4. Exam Schedule
4.1 The Skill Test is conducted every Friday (Working Day Only).
4.2 Time: 4:00 PM
4.3 Candidate must inform and confirm via phone call at least 1 day before the exam.
4.4 Maximum 2 candidates per session.
5. Marking and Passing Criteria
5.1 Total Marks: 100
5.2 Theory: 50 Marks
5.2.1 Minimum 35 marks required to pass
5.3 Practical: 50 Marks
5.3.1 Minimum 40 marks required to pass
5.4 Overall Requirement
5.4.1 Minimum 75 total marks required
5.4.2 Candidate must pass both Theory and Practical separately
6. Test Structure
6.1 Theory Examination (30 Minutes)
6.1.1 Written Test (Tick Mark Questions – MCQ)
6.1.2 Basic Technical Knowledge
6.1.3 Short Oral / Speaking Test
6.2 Practical Examination
Candidate must demonstrate the following skills:
6.2.1 Fiber stripping without core damage
6.2.2 Basic fusion splicing procedure
6.2.3 OTDR basic testing and result explanation
6.2.4 OPM power measurement with different wavelengths
6.2.5 Loss calculation of fiber, splicing, bending, splitter, etc.
6.2.6 Termination in Enclosure / Tiffin Box
6.2.7 Basic FTTH knowledge (OLT, Splitter, ONU power concept)

10.4 Strict evaluation system applied
10.5 If failed, candidate may re-apply after 30 days
