Free Service Camp for Fusion Splicer, OTDR, and Optical Fiber Cleaver by D-Tech in Nuwakot

D-Tech, recently organized a free service camp in Nuwakot, aimed at servicing and maintaining essential optical fiber equipment like fusion splicers, OTDRs (Optical Time Domain Reflectometers), and optical fiber cleavers. The camp was a fantastic opportunity for professionals in the field to ensure their equipment was running at peak efficiency, and it turned out to be a well-organized and impactful event.

The Journey Begins

The service camp kicked off on Falgun 17, 2081, and our team consisting of five set off for Nuwakot early in the morning. The mission was clear: to offer free servicing, troubleshooting, and technical advice to local technicians and companies involved in the optical fiber industry. We wanted to make sure they could continue their work with minimal disruptions and keep their equipment in top condition.

Locations We Visited

Our first stop was in Battar bazar, a locality in Bidur, Nuwakot. Here, we worked with a local businesses and individuals who had fusion splicers, OTDRs, and optical fiber cleavers in need of service. We serviced the tools, cleaned them, and made sure they were calibrated to deliver the best performance. We also showcased our newly launched products, they even bought some of them.

Next, we headed to Trishuli and chahare, where we encountered a mix of both new and older equipment. These areas had technicians who were especially eager to learn more about the maintenance of their optical tools. Here our team managed to give service to 6-7 fusion splicing machines. It was great to see the enthusiasm and dedication they had for the field.

Finally, we visited Betrawati, a key area in the district, where a major optical fiber project was underway. The technicians here were working on a significant fiber optic expansion, and our services helped ensure that their equipment was in optimal working order to meet the project’s deadlines.
