40G Transmission Over a Single Fiber Core Using DWDM (Mux & Demux Solution)
→ Using DWDM Mux and Demux, we can achieve up to 40G capacity over a single fiber core by combining four 10G DWDM channels.
→ D-TECH provides DWDM solutions that allow multiple high-speed links to run over one fiber core, ideal when fiber resources are limited.
Why DWDM is Needed
→ In many existing networks, fiber cores are already busy, and no extra core is available for expansion.
→ Instead of laying new fiber, DWDM enables easy upgrades from 10G to 20G, 30G, or 40G using the same fiber.
→ This solution is suitable for both current expansion and future-ready networks.
Future Upgrade Capability
→ The same DWDM infrastructure can be upgraded to 100G in the future.
→ Simply replace 10G DWDM SFP+ with 25G DWDM SFP28 or 100G DWDM modules.
→ No change is required to the fiber or Mux/Demux equipment.
