Optical Fiber Protection Sleeves
Optical Fiber Protection Sleeves are designed to provide mechanical strength, environmental protection, and long-term reliability for fusion-spliced optical fibers. These sleeves protect the splice point from moisture, dust, bending, and mechanical stress, ensuring stable optical performance in fiber optic networks. Available in Core-to-Core Sleeves and Drop Cable Sleeves, they are suitable for use in FTTH, FTTx, telecom, data centers, and outdoor fiber installations.
1. Core-to-Core Optical Fiber Protection Sleeves
Core-to-Core Sleeves are used to protect fusion splices between bare optical fibers (typically 250 µm or 900 µm fibers). They are ideal for splicing inside splice trays, closures, and optical distribution frames (ODF).
2. Drop Cable Optical Fiber Protection Sleeves
Drop Cable Sleeves are specifically designed for protecting fusion splices between drop cables and optical fibers or between two drop cables. These sleeves provide enhanced strength to support the larger diameter and tension requirements of drop cables used in FTTH deployments.
