EMAN is bringing something special for all fiber splicing professionals - The Dashain FTTR Tournament 2025
This exciting
event is designed to combine festive cheer with technical excellence, giving fiber splicers a chance to showcase
their skills, teamwork, and
knowledge in FTTH to FTTR networking. And yes - the winning team walks away with a Khasi (above 30kg) as
the grand prize!

Team Size: Maximum 3 members (at least 1
member must have networking design knowledge)
Entry Fee: Free - a celebration of Dashain

Tournament Steps

Design
& Draw:
Submit your FTTR layout design to the coordinator

Splicing
& Reporting:
Perform splicing and submit OTDR trace (PDF or SOR)

Q&A
Round:
Answer 5 basic FTTR-related questions
4.
Practical
Demonstration:
Establish FTTH connectivity with the provided equipment
5.
Final
Evaluation:
Show correct, stable, and usable FTTR connectivity
