A Failover Media Converter is a device used to ensure continuous network connectivity by automatically switching to a backup network path in case of a failure. It converts media types (e.g., from fiber to copper or vice versa) and supports redundant connections for enhanced reliability. In the event of a primary link failure, the failover functionality instantly activates the secondary link, minimizing downtime and maintaining uninterrupted network performance. This Media converter is with 1x10/100/1000Mbps adaptive RJ45 ports, 2x1000M SFP uplink ports. The RJ45 port supports MDI/MDIX and wire speed forwarding functions. Store and forward to provide stable and reliable data transmission. Device provide 2 Ethernet optic port to realize 1+1 optic backup.
