MTP/MPO Fiber Connector Cleaning Guide
Overview
Dirt, dust, and other contaminants on MTP/MPO fiber optic connectors can significantly affect transmission quality and may even cause network failure. Proper cleaning is essential to maintain stable and high-performance fiber optic connections across networks.
There are two main cleaning methods: Dry Cleaning and Wet Cleaning. Dry cleaning is generally recommended for regular maintenance, while wet cleaning can be used for stubborn contaminants but must be handled carefully to avoid damage.
